Pachena Bay - Moc Latigo Washed Flesh
The Pachena Bay Boot from Viberg features a single-piece upper design with the recognisable padded collar often seen in Italian rock-climbing footwear from the 1970s. Further enhanced for colder environments, it also sports a gusseted tongue and Thinsulate lining for optimal insulation.
The uppers are constructed from Latigo leather, produced by Horween Leather Company of Chigaco, Illinois. It's a combination tanned leather that utilises chrome and vegetable methods and finished with oil and wax treatments to create a water-resistant material with typical moccasin characteristics. It traces back to Horween's military leather program from the WWII era when Marines coated their boots for field-ready durability.
Viberg boots are made for a lifetime of wear, so a sole which can be repaired, removed and replaced is paramount to ensure that daily wear doesn't cut that experience short. A Viberg Extralight EVA sole unit provides EVA cushioning and increased grip thanks to the grooved outsole.
- Made on Viberg 240 last
- Horween Latigo Waxed Fresh (US)
- Thinsulate lining
- Antique brass hardware
- 360º natural storm welt
- Viberg Extralight EVA sole
- Made in Canada
- Please note: The natural hides used for Viberg footwear show natural abrasions & marks unique to each animal.
